FAQs

How long will my pepper jelly last?

We make our jelly at a ph level that mold won’t grow in. Our recommended shelf life is 3 years.

Do I need to refrigerate my pepper jelly?

Nope! We recommend that you don’t. We can’t speak for other pepper jellies on the market, but ours does not require refrigeration. Infact, it has a tendency to act like honey and can crystallize if refrigerated. If this happens, simply remove cap and heat in short (10 second) intervals. Stir jelly and store at room temperature and it will return to 80% viscosity.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We are a small family owned business. We ship multiple times a week so most orders will arrive in a timely fashion. Feel free to contact us if you have questions/concerns.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, due to very high increased shipping costs, we no longer offer international shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Why is shipping so expensive/what happened to the 18+ jar discount?

Pepper jelly in a glass jar weighs a lot! Unfortunately, over time we have had to minimally up our shipping costs and due to ever increasing postage costs we can no longer offer the 18+ jar $0.50 off each jar discount. Thank you for your understanding!

Are they all hot?

Nope! We have lots of pepper jellies that have zero heat at all. All of our flavored jellies we make in a mild and a hot variety. And our Private Preserve Mild is a favorite traditional jelly.

What do I put pepper jelly on?

Everything! The traditional way to enjoy is served over cream cheese or warmed brie with crackers. It’s wonderful to use in cooking as a glaze on meats and seafood. Check out our “Recipe Ideas” page for inspiration.

What happened to my favorite pepper jelly flavor?

Unfortunately, over the years we’ve had to say goodbye to some of our flavors, including horseradish and roasted garlic. We have a wide variety of flavors though so we feel certain we’ll have something to please everyone!
